Lovely place to stay the night, room was cozy and the bed was comfy also the bathrooms are great.
10 of us went for a family meal on Saturday. We pre-ordered and i have to say that the staff were excellent. The food came out together and was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the meal and desserts. The service was really good and nothing was a bother for the two girls serving us. 10/10 from us
Plenty of notices in the car park about registering your car in the bar. Very nice inside with great views. Vegetarian menu is limited but the mushroom stroganoff we had was very quickly delivered and had a nice smoked flavour. Prices similar to most pubs/restaurants.
Absolutely outstanding. Service from Dan and Grace could not fault at all. They were kind accommodating with reference the food order. It was my birthday and went with an aged very ill relative and they were lovely. Tha food was exceptional. My husband had the brisket and he raved about it. We had a small fish and chips. If that was small I would dread to see the large fish. I would highly recommend this lovely and warm furnished hostelry. Well done to them. Thankyou.

Quality rooms, service and food. Stayed in the "Town" Room - spotlessly clean. Comfiest bed and lovely window seat with great outlook. Food was excellent both lunchtime and breakfast. Couldn't fault the service by all the staff - welcoming, professional. Great team. Would defintely recommend.
We didn't stay here but came for food in the restaurant. Service was great friendly staff. Fantastic choice on the menu. Can highly recommend the messy lasagne, the beef stroganoff, the chicken curry, the burger and the sweet and smoked chicken. Homemade chips are delicious too and be warned big portions.

I had the vegetable curry and all of the vegetables were hard, and the rice was wet, so I was unable to eat much of it. My partner and his family had the steak and the stroganoff, and they were happy with their food- maybe I just ordered the wrong dish. The staff were very polite but it was very understaffed. Getting an order in took 40 minutes as there was only two women working alone in a very busy restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice though, and it is decorated very nicely, with some beautiful views across the countryside and surrounding towns. Ample car parking is available on site too.
